Llanfair-yn-Neubwll is one of the three Community Councils that form Llifon Ward on the Isle of Anglesey in the north west of Wales. The community includes the villages of Caergeiliog, Llanfair yn Neubwll and Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn and has a population of 1606 (2011 Census).
Approximately 27% of our population are under the age of 16, a further 66% are under the age of 65 and less than 7% are over pensionable age which means that our demography is significantly different to the rest of Anglesey. This is mainly because of the presence of the Royal Air Force Station at RAF Valley. This station was established here during the Second World War, it has shaped our community and continues to be a major employer in the area.
